Officials with the Town of Blackfalds say the community’s Multi-Plex expansion project remains on track and on budget.
On Monday, council approved the latest expansion project designs and directed administration to assist ACI Architects in finalizing detailed designs for the roughly $12.4 million project.
According to officials, $12 million is currently set aside in the Town’s 10 Year Capital Plan for a twinning of the existing arena, with another $4 million set aside for a new library to be included in the facility.
