Building permit values up in January

Building permit values increased significantly in January, despite an overall decrease in the number of permits issued. 56 permits were approved in January with a combined value of $60.6 million, compared to 87 permits issued in January 2019, worth just over $20.5 million. January’s permit values also increased significantly compared to December 2019, when 67 permits were issued totaling $4.2 million.
