Through a combination of new construction and renovation, Eastwood High School in El Paso, Texas, incorporated insulated metal panels (IMPs) into its plans to adopt smart building practices and adhere to stringent energy codes to maximize energy efficiencies. Architectural Flat insulated metal wall panels from Robertson Building Systems helped make the exterior of the facility visually striking, accenting the facility’s rich Southwest colour palette. The panels also blended seamlessly with new and existing conventional construction materials, including masonry, wood, brick, and glass.
The IMPs are ideal for high-profile architectural applications and may be installed either vertically or horizontally for maximum design flexibility. Attached concealed clips and fasteners in the side joint provide a flush appearance. Foamed-in-place technology makes this the most thermally efficient architectural panel available.
For Eastwood High School, the panels have a standard 25-mm (1-in.) vertical reveal at each panel joint and a 50-mm (2-in.) formed horizontal reveal between the rows of panels, providing energy efficiency to the building.
Robertson Building Systems is the trusted Canadian expert when it comes to the specialization of creating high-quality products and custom-engineered metal building systems, meeting the evolving construction market demands and providing sustainable building solutions.
