January 6, 2020

Congratulations to the Canadian Design-Build Institute’s past chair, Neil McFarlane, on being the 2019 recipient of the Claude Alston award[1] presented by the Edmonton Construction Association (ECA). The Claude Alston award was created in 1975 and is ECA’s highest honour, given in recognition of an individual’s distinguished contribution to the Edmonton construction industry. Below is the announcement from ECA:

We are pleased to announce that this year’s Claude Alston award recipient is Neil McFarlane. Neil has been an outstanding member of the Edmonton construction community for four decades and has made huge contributions locally, regionally and nationally. We look forward to celebrating his service to our industry. The Builder’s Connect Luncheon will also provide the opportunity for everyone to meet all our new and continuing board members.

All of us at the Canadian Design-Build Institute send our congratulations Neil for this great honour!
